I capture the biggest moments of people’s lives. That goes beyond simply pointing a camera. To a large extent, I’m responsible for the memories they’re creating. And any doubts about the importance of my one-person business are erased the moment a new bride sees her wedding pictures.
I wasn’t always a photographer. I saw an opening in a niche market and jumped in. Plus, it let me spend more time with my kids. Naturally, there were obstacles to overcome - like my lack of formal training, plus the fact that I was camping out in front of buildings to get a Wi-Fi signal.
But that’s all changed.
