FairPoint Communications believes in supporting our communities in their economic development, community event and youth initiative programs. We are pleased to partner with our communities and appreciate the opportunity to join our customers and employees in strengthening the bonds that build our neighborhoods and enrich our lives.

If your donation request falls into one of the above categories visit our Community First Page to view the eligibility of your organization. Please note that FairPoint donates to organizations, not individuals. All submissions are considered. However, due to the volume of donation requests, we are unable to respond to all submissions. Selected submissions will be notified within the requested timeframe.

At FairPoint, we are passionate about improving the quality of life where we live and work.  We do this by investing in communications technology, sponsoring local programs, offering leadership and volunteering.




Strengthening our communities means supporting our customers with communications technology of the highest possible quality.  This commitment means more than providing our customers with broadband and phone services.  It means making investments in the growth of the communities where we do business - contributing to events and organizations that enrich our communities' quality of life - and making state - of - the - art technologies available so that our communities can attract economic opportunities and jobs.

We are proud to be active and engaged community partners.  Our people lead and participate in organizations to benefit their community.  We provide financial support to worthy causes and devote countless hours each year helping others through volunteer work.

We do this by investing in communications technology, sponsoring local programs, offering leadership and volunteering.


Community Support Highlights

  • Sponsor and participate in American Red Cross Blood Drives that contribute nearly 2,500 units of blood a year

  • Volunteer nearly 50,000 hours to community events and organizations.

  • Contribute to over 360 organizations that support our communities through programs and services

  • Sponsor the United Way annual appeal and various local events

  • Partner with local resources to deliver Internet Safety training to more than 3,800 students and parents

  • Collect and donate over 25,000 pounds of food to local pantries and shelters
