If you spend $3,000 to $5,000 on your monthly long distance needs, SimpleOptions has a per-minute rate that fits your business. The higher your monthly commitment, the lower your rate.

With our SimpleOptions Calling Plan, you can enjoy:

  • Competitive per-minute rates for direct-dialed, in-state long distance calls (please contact a FairPoint account representative for the rates)
  • Calls that are rated in 6-second increments with an 18-second minimum
  • All long distance usage will contribute towards the minimum spending level you select

Long distance services are provided by FairPoint Long Distance. Only charges imposed by FairPoint Long Distance contribute to the MSL, including charges for direct-dialed regional and long distance toll calls, operated-assisted calls, FairPoint Long Distance calling card long distance calls, and charges under international calling plans and toll-free service. Charges imposed by other FairPoint affiliates, including your local FairPoint phone company, do not contribute to the MSL. Charges such as taxes, Universal Service Fund (USF) surcharges, presubscribed interexchange carrier charges, pay phone charges, early-termination charges, nonrecurring charges, and calling card usage (carried by a carrier other than FairPoint Long Distance) also do not contribute to the MSL. A shortfall charge, equal to the difference between the MSL and the actual amount spent on long distance charges, will apply for each month that customers do not reach their MSL in that month.

All calling card charges will appear on your local phone company bill. Applicable per-call surcharges may apply. A 50ยข surcharge will apply to all calls placed from a domestic pay phone. International calls, calls that terminate to wireless phones, and premium services may incur additional charges.
