FairPoint has recently completed a very complicated transition of services: All of our systems are officially transitioned from Verizon Communications to FairPoint-owned equipment. Now you will have the benefit of reliable technology as well as operations that Verizon had located outside of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are now located in these states.

- The names of many services have changed and are reflected on your monthly statement
- New FairPoint support phone numbers are in effect
