Professional Installation for FairPoint's Fiber Access Network

When you order FairPoint's fiber access network, a FairPoint professional will install your service FREE for your primary computer.* If you select a Month-to-Month plan, the installation fee is $79.99. You will also be given the option of setting up additional computers during the initial installation for $89.99 each. Installation charges will vary by the service package you select. For additional computers, additional charges may apply.

Your FairPoint technician will:

• Install special data wiring to your computer and any required wall jacks (if necessary)
• Install the FairPoint home networking router and software
• Get you connected to the Internet
• Migrate any voice services on the current billing account to the FairPoint's fiber access network; there is no additional cost for this, and it will not affect your current monthly charges
• Provide a FairPoint fiber access network welcome kit with information about your fiber access network connection

Connecting Multiple Computers

If yours is a new fiber access network installation, you will receive a free wireless home networking router. Existing fiber access network TV customers will use the wireless router provided with their fiber access network TV service.

The wireless router allows you to connect up to 4 computers through the four wired ports and/or additional computers without wires. This means that you can use a combination of wired and wireless networking for multiple computers.

For each wireless computer that you connect, you will need the appropriate wireless adapter. During installation, you will have the option of selecting wireless adapters.
